Are you looking for fresh tutoring strategies to effectively teach specific concepts or skills to your learner? Do you want to collaborate with other Catholic Charities volunteers? This workshop is perfect for you!
In this hour and a half workshop led by Catholic Charities volunteer Annegret, volunteers will come prepared with a specific skill they’d like to teach in the future or are currently struggling to teach to their learner (e.g., pronouns, adjectives, ordinal numbers, prepositions, letter sounds, etc.). During the session, participants will create a simple, hands-on activity to use in their tutoring sessions, designed to teach and assess vocabulary. You'll also have the chance to collaborate with fellow volunteers and exchange ideas.
