Do you have great citizenship or ESL pictures, worksheets, games or other documents/resources that you’ve collected? Do you want to see what materials other volunteers have found? If so, come to our first in-person volunteer Make and Take workshop!
In this 60-minuteute workshop led by Catholic Charities volunteer Annegret Paas, volunteers are asked to bring their favorite resources or materials and talk about how they use them. Then, participants can select the materials that they want to copy and bring home with them. You’ll leave with both new ideas and materials for working with your refugee/immigrant partner.
Unsure of what ideas you could share? No problem! Come anyways to get some teaching inspiration!
